Kimberly Staples holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University with a concentration in Accounting. She earned her law degree in 1998 from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law and has been in private practice since that time. Ms. Staples is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Louisville Bar Association – Bankruptcy Division, and Hardin County Bar Association. In addition, Ms. Staples served on the U.S. Bankruptcy Court’s Strategic Planning Committee for the Western District of Kentucky and is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. To date Ms. Staples has obtained the largest personal injury settlement in our firm’s history. Ms. Staples has also worked with students in Jefferson and Hardin County participating in Teen Court and the C.A.R.E. program which helps educate young adults on issues related to credit attainment and financial planning. In her spare time, Ms. Staples is an avid runner and swimmer but most often can be found spending time with her three grandchildren.
